Members in attendance: Chairman Linda Chudley, Vice Chair Barry Ware, Secretary Sheila Revill, Rally Officers Pete & Marion Gray, Committee Members Mike Chudley, Trish Cornish & Robin Empsall
- Chair’s Welcome
Linda opened the meeting, explaining this is an informal meeting to agree the 2027 program and fees.
- Rally Officers
The majority of the 2027 rally program has been agreed, and fees for 14 booked rallies agreed and finalised, with 2 still to be confirmed.
The rally officers are happy for hosts to rebook dates with the site they are hosting, but then must leave all fee negotiations to the rally officers. They explained any site with limited pitches may result in a book with intent for that rally.
A discussion on free pitches for rally hosts and the potential cost of co-hosts to the club. Pete stated host free pitch also depends on the number of vans attending at the rally. 20 vans or more usually a site will award the hosts free pitch. If less vans the club pays for the host pitch, it would mean more cost to the club to pay for the hosts and co-hosts
- It was agreed – the rally host and co-hosts should decide between themselves how they will split the free pitches.
